In this course, children will expand their phonics knowledge by learning additional vowel teams, diphthongs, prefixes, suffixes, silent letters, and uncommon spellings. They will continue to develop fluency through reading longer passages and will begin writing sentences and completing spelling tasks to reinforce their learning.

Level 6 is designed for students who are ready to tackle more advanced spelling patterns and increase their fluency and comprehension skills. This level bridges the gap between foundational phonics and more complex literacy tasks, preparing children for independent reading and writing.

This course contains 25 open-and-go lessons, loosely scripted to provide clear, step-by-step guidance. Lessons are flexible and can be completed in 1–3 days, depending on your child’s pace and learning needs.

While the Instructor’s Guide includes all necessary teaching points, the Student Pages book is highly recommended. It features reading material, games, and activities to enhance each lesson.
